Process Development: Analysis & Design

Once the system's requirements have been fully defined, at this point
the software development team begins architecting the software's processing and
functionality.
At this point, software architects undertake
the design of a software system's information infrastructure,
component infrastructure, and the programming specifications of each component
itself - in accordance with the system's requirements.
Although the "heavy-lifting" is
done by the development team here, it is important to validate
these designs and specifications with the software user to ensure
they meet the system's requirements, and thus ensuring high quality
of the software system.
